About: JYE SPRIGGS
- Role : Trainer and Assessor
Jye has been competing in team and endurance sports since a young teenager. At the age of 16 he won a silver medal at Nationals for under 16’s hockey. He then found a passion for multi skill endurance events and represented Australia at age group world championships in Chicago in 2015. He then was crowned the Queensland Duathlon Champion 20-24 in 2017.
Jye now competes at an elite level in triathlons and has qualified for the world championships in September.
He takes pride in not only being the best he can be but in seeing other’s succeed. He has always had a great passion for sport and fitness and helping and seeing the success of others motivates him.

Advice to Fit Education Students
Set goals not limits. Ie. You should always have a goal you are aiming to achieve, whether that be to just get your next assessment done or if it’s longer term to coach a professional sports team or athlete. And don’t limit yourself, if you want to do something don’t be afraid to aim high and go after it
