Jye has been competing in team and endurance sports since he was a teenager. At the age of 16 he won a silver medal at Nationals for under 16s hockey. He then found a passion for multi-skill endurance events and in 2015 represented Australia at the Age Group Triathlon World Championships. He was then crowned Queensland Duathlon Champion 20-24 in 2017.

Jye now competes at Elite Level in triathlons and has qualified for the World Championships in September.

He takes pride in not only being the best he can be but in seeing others succeed. Having always had a passion for sport and fitness, seeing the success of others motivates him.
