If you are ready to harness the power of Tennis to create a more playful world, we want you on our team, and we now have an opportunity for a Tennis Coach to join us on a casual basis. This role is based at the Queensland Tennis Centre in Brisbane.
About the role
Reporting to the Head Coach, in this role you deliver the highest quality coaching service to players of all ages, abilities and levels at our Queensland Tennis Centre (QTC). Delivery of the coaching program includes a range of classes including Tennis Hot Shots, Junior Development, and Group Social lessons through to Performance pathways.
In this role, you will;
- Deliver coaching programs that are actively engaging and enriching for all students.
- Develop opportunities for student progression and skill development.
- Maintain a high level of communication and customer service across coaching programs.
- Ensure the delivery of successful performance outcomes across a range of QTC programs including School Programming, Holiday Camps, Hot Shots age group and fixtures programs.
- Advise on objectives and key performance measures where programs are not meeting targets and reconfigure appropriately.
- Attend and develop yourself with a team of supportive coaches always learning and bringing some passion to the sport.
About you
What you will bring to the role:
- Teaching and Tennis Coaching experience
- An understanding of Tennis, and the Tennis Australia vision
- Highly effective organisational and communication skills
- Committed and a genuine love of the sport
- A valid Tennis Australian coaching registration
- First Aid and CPR
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
