Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore. ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head Coach of Basketball plays a vital role within the Knox Sports and Aquatic Academy (KSAA). Working alongside the Director of Basketball, the Head Coach will focus on enhancing the performance and reputation of Knox’s elite Basketball program, encompassing the 1st V, 2nds, A/B squads, and Prep 1sts.

Knox aims to be the premier school for aspiring basketball players, and the Head Coach will be instrumental in achieving this vision while making a meaningful impact on the broader NSW Basketball community. The role emphasizes fostering an engaging, inclusive, and progressive Basketball program, supporting students of all skill levels in their development journey.

This a permanent full-time position, working term time plus 6 non-term weeks.

ABOUT YOU

  • Association Coach (Level 2) or above Coaching Accreditation
  • Experience with Sportscode and HUDL analytics
  • Experience working with young adolescents, ideally in a school setting or elite level.
  • Experience working with State and National level athletes and competitions.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building and maintaining quality relationships with all members of the School’s community and the wider Basketball community.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt and operate effectively in a demanding and changing environment.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel independently between sites.
  • A current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
