An exciting opportunity exists to join the FitStop community!!  Due to growth we are looking to hire a Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of FitStop Greenslopes. Ensuring high standards of service delivery, and driving member engagement, retention and growth. The role involves managing trainers, maintaining facility standards, achieving financial targets, and creating a positive, results-oriented environment for both employees and members.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Management:
– Oversee the daily operations of the Fitstop location, ensuring all equipment, facilities, and services are in top condition.
– Ensure the studio is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
– Coordinate with maintenance teams or vendors to address repairs and maintenance issues promptly.

Staff Management & Leadership:
– Lead, mentor, and manage a team of trainers.
– Conduct regular team meetings, training, and development sessions to ensure high performance and alignment with Fitstop values.
– Schedule and oversee staff shifts, ensuring proper coverage at all times.
– Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff as necessary.

Member Engagement & Retention:
– Build strong relationships with members to foster a supportive and encouraging fitness environment.
– Address and resolve member concerns or complaints efficiently and professionally.
– Create programs and initiatives to enhance member engagement and retention.
– Monitor member feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall experience.

Sales & Financial Management:
– Manage membership sales, renewals, and upgrades to meet monthly and quarterly financial goals.
– Track and analyse key performance metrics (e.g., membership growth, retention rates, revenue targets).
– Understand the studio’s budget, including payroll, expenses, and inventory.
– Drive local marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and attract new members.

Program Deliver & Class Oversight:
– Ensure Fitstop training sessions are delivered with consistency, energy, and adherence to the perfect session.
– Support trainers in delivering exceptional member experiences during workouts.
– Monitor the quality and performance of group classes, providing feedback and guidance to trainers.

Previous customer service experience is essential, ideally sales/leadership in the fitness industry, however if you don’t and you still think you have the skills to apply please do so!
