The Competition & Participation Manager is primarily focused on the day-to-day competition & administration requirements of a ‘not for profit’ sporting association. The core areas include Competition set up and operation for both Junior and Seniors, handling of customer enquiries, the provision of information to prospective customers, membership processing and development of participation programs, general customer service and other tasks as delegated by the Basketball Operations Manager to ensure it achieves its strategic and operational goals.

Key Performance Indicators

• Manage Senior and Junior programs, review effectiveness & manage customer feedback
• Increase revenue through player participation grants
• Maintain online member database, registrations & online payment systems
• Develop marketing plans for membership growth
• Develop new & creative opportunities to grow participation & competitions.
• Competition management – on time for draws/results/ladders across all competitions
• Membership compliance
• Membership growth per annum across participation programs & all competitions
